Boston, MA [August 12, 2020] — Once again, Illuminate has been named to Inc. magazine’s Inc. 5000, the nationally recognized, annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. The Boston-based developer of innovative custom clinical sales training programs for the life science industry was first named to the Inc. 5000 ranking in 2019. The firm’s three-year revenue growth, which factored into the rankings, increased by 76%.

“This past year has posed unprecedented challenges, and I’ve been deeply impressed by the ingenuity, hard work, and commitment demonstrated by our entire team, all of which have contributed to our continued growth,” says Illuminate founder and president Shaun McMahon. “My congratulations and deep appreciation to everyone at Illuminate, and thanks to Inc. for this recognition.”

The Inc. 5000 ranking, available at, spotlights U.S.-based, privately-held businesses that achieved a minimum of $2 million in annual earnings last year, after having earned at least $100,000 in 2016. First established in 1982, the Inc. list has been called “America’s Entrepreneurial Benchmark.”

“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 come from nearly every realm of business,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “From health and software to media and hospitality, the 2020 list proves that no matter the sector, incredible growth is based on the foundations of tenacity and opportunism.”
