Boston, MA [April 28, 2020]—Illuminate, the Boston-based developer of innovative custom clinical sales training programs for the life science industry (www.illuminate.net), has been welcomed into the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) following its certification through the NGLCC Supplier
Diversity Initiative.

On its website, the NGLCC is described as ‘the business voice of the LGBT community, the largest advocacy organization dedicated to expanding economic opportunities and advancements for LGBT people, and the exclusive certifying body for LGBT-owned businesses.’ According to its president and cofounder,
Justin G. Nelson, the NGLCC is the largest LGBT business advocacy organization in the world.

“Encouraging inclusivity in the workplace and supporting diverse communities is personally important to me, and these objectives are fundamental to Illuminate’s mission and work culture as well,” says Illuminate president and founder Shaun McMahon. “We are honored to become a certified LGBT Business Enterprise and we look forward to supporting the NGLCC’s important work and upholding its
values.”

Founded in 2002, the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) continues to be the only national not-for-profit advocacy organization dedicated to expanding the economic opportunities and advancements of the LGBT business community. The NGLCC has more than 1,030 certified members, nearly 200 corporate partners, and over 65 local, state, and international affiliate chambers. NGLCC’s ongoing mission is to connect its main constituency groups – LGBT-owned businesses, affiliate chambers, corporate partners, and government agencies – in order to advance opportunities for the LGBT business community.
