If you’re not already reading this on the app, pick up your phone and check it out.

Isn’t it amazing what we can access on our phones these days, right from the palms of our hands? Seems everyone has an app to make it handy, easy and even rewarding for executing business. LTEN is no exception to making things convenient.

Earlier this year, LTEN released its new app, LTEN On-the-Go. The new all-things-LTEN app was first introduced at the 48th LTEN Annual Conference, where more than 800 members took advantage of the convenience of in-your-hand access to conference details.

But the LTEN On-the-Go app provides members value well beyond conference access. Literally everything you can do through the L-TEN.org website can now be done anytime, anywhere through the app.

  • Want to view items on the event calendar, maybe even register? There’s an app for that. In fact, this issue of LTEN Focus on Training includes the LTEN 2020 events calendar, and the app has that information too. New programs are added throughout the year, so be sure to keep an eye on the calendar, a task made easier with the app.
  • Want to join an upcoming webinar or access an on-demand recording? You can sign up or sign in through the app.
  • Maybe you want to join your colleagues at an upcoming Network After Work mixer? Or learn at one of the LTEN in-person workshops? You can reserve your spot on the app.
  • And there’s so much more – you’ll be able to sign up for the conference, learn about the LTEN Excellence Awards, manage your member profile. If you aren’t already, you could be reading this article on the LTEN On-the-Go app.

The app also features an interactive news feed where you can find relevant and timely articles from the world of training and connect with other members. Think Facebook but focused only on life sciences training and business issues.

Perhaps you have read something of interest lately that you would like to share with LTEN community members? Any member can post right to the app. In addition, the app features polling that allows you to see what is on the minds of other peer members of LTEN.

If you’re not already reading this on the app, pick up your phone and check it out.  There’s a poll there now on development issues and many Forum discussion topics, including one on the future of learning and technology.

You know what else you can do with the app? Get a sneak peek at future LTEN Focus on Training issues. Digital issues of the magazine will be posted exclusively  to the app, before being added to the L-TEN.org website.

Here’s the best part: We’ve made it easy to access. Just go to your app store and type in LTEN and you’ll be able to quickly download the free app. You will need your LTEN member credentials (user name and password) to log on, since the app is for members only. If you need assistance with logging in, reach out to the LTEN office and we’ll be happy to help.

LTEN happily offers all types of education programs and opportunities to sharpen your professional skills, share information with colleagues and learn from and with one another. The LTEN On-the-Go app is your quickest connection to getting involved. I hope to see you there!
