LTEN Members Discuss Instructional Design at San Francisco Mixer

More than 35 LTEN members turned out for the Sept. 28, 2017, LTEN Network After Work mixer, held at the Genentech Commercial Training Center in South San Francisco, CA. The Sept. 28 program, sponsored by Genentech, Illuminate and Quantum Learning, was the latest in the series of LTEN member events held around the United States.

Former LTEN Board President Carol Wells, senior director of commercial training and development for Genentech, was the host of the mixer event. Wells welcomed the crowd and introduced the team of three guest speakers from Genentech:

  • Leslie Waite, senior clinical trainer
  • Zach Rhoades, senior training manager
  • Britt Kopping, director, IMPACT

Waite, Rhoades and Kopping interacted with audience members as part of their presentation, titled “Instructional Design for Today’s Learners.” The mixer also featured food and refreshments for attendees, as well as the chance to network with other LTEN colleagues.

Thanks to everyone for attending, to Leslie, Zach and Britt for their presentation and to Carol for hosting the successful event. Thanks also to the sponsors, Genentech, Illuminate and Quantum Learning.
