Rethinking Your Sales Training: Designing Highly Effective Sales Training for 2023
November 1, 2022 @ 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm EDT
Statistics indicate that today’s sales training is neither innovative nor effective. According to Forbes magazine, 55% of salespeople lack basic sales skills, 58% of buyers report that sales reps are unable to answer questions effectively and 82% of B2B decision-makers think sales reps are unprepared. Why is this?
Because organizations are still utilizing traditional training methods, which rely heavily on gaining experience in the field (through trial and error), rather than preparing sales associates to be successful day one in the field. In addition to initial onboarding, organizations need to also consider a more holistic approach that continues to develop and advance selling skills beyond new hire.
