Driving Career Conversations
November 29 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm EST
Career conversations are discussions designed to guide the future of an individual’s working life. From the field to headquarters, these conversations help people discover the general direction in which they want to go and gives them the power to feel more satisfied in their roles, regardless of their aspirations.
Most importantly, individuals own their development and careers and must play an active role in initiating and driving ongoing career conversations. In a career conversation, it’s important that the individual define success, not anyone else. Success means different things to different people.
Join us for this special LTEN webinar, as we help you prepare your teams – and yourself – for career conversations. Scott Tinkel, director of field leader development for Takeda and a member of the LTEN Field Trainer Committee, will help you prepare for your career conversations. Scott will share three critical questions you need to answer:
- What Energizes You? What are your passions, strengths, and interests?
- What Are Your Career Aspirations? Think long-term, when will you retire, what will that role be?
- Have You Taken a Deeper Dive? Think through the details about how to move from the current situation to the long-term goal
