The Three Pillars of Selling Effectiveness

Friday, April 27, 2018
12:30 PM ET / 9:30 AM PT

We’ve all heard the saying “practice makes perfect.” Nowhere is that more applicable than for a life sciences sales professional. Accordingly, training for life sciences sales professionals focuses predominantly on preparation and practice. These are essential pillars to sales effectiveness, however, there is a third pillar – presence – that is often overlooked.

Join us for this LTEN webinar as Jennifer Dolan, director of client services and skills training, and Gina Giambalvo, learning solution designer, both of IC Axon, lead a discussion and share ideas for bringing the concept of presence into the classroom for raising the effectiveness of sales professionals.

At this webinar, Jennifer and Gina will discuss:

• The three pillars for selling effectiveness – preparation, practice, and presence.
• What do we mean by presence and how is it relevant to sales training?
• The qualities of presence and their contribution to productivity and effectiveness.
• Ways to bring the concept of presence into the learning experience.

Navigating Value-Based Selling to Improve Market Share

Tuesday, May 1, 2018
12:30 PM ET / 9:30 AM PT

The market is shifting from volume to value, creating business dynamics that negatively impact your business and sales models. Our customers’ new value-based purchasing process has created longer sales cycles, increase in product commoditization and a shift from efficacy to value creation. As relationship selling is becoming less and less effective in the value-based environment, there is a need to develop sales professionals who understand how to positively position their products to address cost, quality and outcomes.

Join us for this LTEN webinar as CMR Institute and experts from Premier and Philips discuss this changing environment, what your customers need and want from their supplier partners, and how you as sales and training professionals can help your company respond to these needs quickly.

At this webinar, you will learn how to:

• Differentiate various value-based payment models and identify opportunities for win/win partnerships between industry and providers.
• Determine the key elements that must be present to create a winning value proposition for key influencers and decision-makers.
• Describe proven methods and resources that can help your organization meet the changing needs of customers head-on and increase sales.

Moderator:
Laura Ramos Hegwer, Vital Communications

Speakers:
Alister Barrow, MHA, Value-Based Healthcare Consultant, CMR Institute
Myla Maloney, Vice President, Strategic Supplier Engagement, Premier, Inc.
Greg Adamson, Senior Director, Sales Training and Enablement, Philips North America

Measurement Can Be Dangerous (If There Are No Results)

Friday, May 11, 2018
12:30 PM ET / 9:30 AM PT

Much has been written about the need to do a better job of measuring and marketing the business impact of training and development. But all that assumes that there are results there to measure and that they will be positive. But suppose there aren't.

If a clinical trial shows no evidence of efficacy, the drug candidate is toast. If a training evaluation shows no evidence of efficacy, you might be toast. The point is not to not measure. The point is that you had better maximize the probability of success before you do.

Join us for this interactive and fast-paced LTEN webinar, as Andy Jefferson and Roy Pollock of The 6Ds Company review the most common reasons that training fails to produce results and what you can do to safeguard your program and career.
