Auditing Quality Suppliers

Friday, March 2, 2018
12:30 PM ET / 9:30 AM PT

The various regulatory agencies have expectations that life sciences manufacturers will demonstrate control over their manufacturing processes, validations and documentation. Quality auditing is the process of checking whether these organizations have implemented what they have stated in written procedures and whether their people are doing what the organization’s procedures state they will do.

Join us for this LTEN webinar, designed for people tasked with performing internal and external audits for their organizations. It is also for those tasked with developing, maintaining and/or improving programs for manufacturing facilities. This includes individuals that have Quality Management Systems responsibilities for making general improvements in their organization’s performance specifically related to equipment, processes and documentation.

Joy McElroy, founder of Maynard Consulting, will speak with you about issues including preparing for regulatory compliance auditing, proper auditor conduct, skills needed for conducting regulatory compliance audits and writing an audit report. At this webinar, you will learn:

• What a regulatory compliance audit is.
• The background and basics of regulatory compliance auditing.
• What skills are necessary for conducting audits.
• How to prepare and plan for a regulatory compliance audit.
• Proper questioning techniques.
• How to conduct a follow-up audit.

Creating Modern Learning for Modern Learners

Friday, April 6, 2018
12:30 PM ET / 9:30 AM PT

The world of learning is changing rapidly. Advances in cognitive science and mobile technology have revolutionized how we think about training. We are supplementing and, in some cases replacing, large, structured training events with new learning strategies, including:

• Microlearning
• Subscription learning
• Gamification
• Adaptive questioning
• Innovative assessments

Learning on phones and tablets has become more commonplace than learning on computers.

But, what is the evidence that all this works? Some modern learning strategies have a stronger research basis than others. How can you use this research evidence to make the case to introduce modern learning strategies into your organization? And finally, since the traditional course as we know it is not totally dead, how do you balance modern learning strategies with the need for larger, structured courses?

Join us for this LTEN webinar as Steven Just, chief learning officer of Intela Learning, addresses all of these issues and provides practical advice to help you implement modern learning strategies in your organization..

Measurement Can Be Dangerous (If There Are No Results)

Friday, May 11, 2018
12:30 PM ET / 9:30 AM PT

Much has been written about the need to do a better job of measuring and marketing the business impact of training and development. But all that assumes that there are results there to measure and that they will be positive. But suppose there aren't.

If a clinical trial shows no evidence of efficacy, the drug candidate is toast. If a training evaluation shows no evidence of efficacy, you might be toast. The point is not to not measure. The point is that you had better maximize the probability of success before you do.

Join us for this interactive and fast-paced LTEN webinar, as Andy Jefferson and Roy Pollock of The 6Ds Company review the most common reasons that training fails to produce results and what you can do to safeguard your program and career.
