Hello LTEN community, and happy June! Summer is here, and that means one thing in our world — conference month has officially arrived. In just another week, LTEN will come together in Kissimmee for a week of sharing, connection, celebration and fresh ideas designed to elevate the impact of life sciences learning and development.
If you’ve already registered, now is the perfect time to start building your plan for the week. If you’ve been thinking about joining us, there is still time. This year’s conference is packed with meaningful opportunities you won’t want to miss.
So, this month, I thought I’d keep it simple and share with you five conference highlights you won’t want to miss at #LTEN2026.
1. Our Brand-New Super Sessions
New this year, we are introducing Thursday Super Sessions. These extended workshop-style learning experiences are built for depth, not just inspiration.
Attendees will select which session connects best with their needs. The sessions are designed to go beyond the traditional conference presentation format and give attendees the opportunity to dive deeper into topics that matter most to today’s life sciences learning professionals. Expect practical tools, peer discussion, real-world examples and strategies you can take back to your organization immediately.
This year’s featured Super Sessions include:
- Don’t Train People, Change What They Do
Explore how learning leaders can move beyond “check-the-box” training and create experiences that truly drive long-term behavior change and performance impact.
- GxP Training: We’re Doing It All Wrong
Challenge traditional compliance training approaches and rethink how organizations move from simply tracking completion to building real competence.
- AI in Practice: Embedding AI Into Everyday Practice in Learning
Discover practical ways to integrate AI into everyday L&D workflows and build sustainable habits that improve learning design, facilitation and delivery.
- Play Your Best Hand: Building Training That Drives Sustained Behavior Change
Participate in an interactive “Behavior Change Lab” focused on diagnosing performance gaps, designing effective learning journeys and sustaining meaningful change.
- Stop Explaining Learning. Build a One-Page Strategy That Moves Others to Action
Learn how to create and communicate a concise, strategic learning plan that helps leaders quickly understand learning’s value and take action.
Whether you’re focused on innovation, leadership, AI, measurement, coaching or building stronger learning experiences, these sessions are being designed to help you move from ideas to action.
2. Giving Back Through Our Charity Event
One of the most meaningful moments of the week will take place on Tuesday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the LTEN Discovery Hall, where we’ll gather in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).
Attendees will have the opportunity to help pack snack bags for families staying with RMHC during difficult times. We’ll also host a silent auction throughout the week in the hall, with proceeds benefiting RMHC.
Stop by, bid on great items, and be part of something bigger than ourselves. The auction closes on Wednesday evening so winners may take items home when they depart.
3. The Spotlight Social
On Wednesday from 5 to 6 p.m., all attendees are invited to join us for the Spotlight Social, honoring this year’s LTEN Excellence Awards finalists.
This event is one of my favorite additions to conference week because it allows all attendees to celebrate the incredible innovation happening across our profession. Also, you’ll have the chance to meet award finalists as they present their work in interactive poster sessions.
Come connect, congratulate finalists and enjoy the energy leading into our LTEN Excellence Awards Gala evening.
4. Discovery Hall + This Year’s Engagement Game
The LTEN Discovery Hall is more than booths and badge scans. It is a lively hub of ideas, discovery and connection.
That is where the Discovery Guide comes in. You’ll receive it on site as your go-to for featured exhibitors, activations, games, prize opportunities, snacks, treats and other fun surprises happening throughout the week. Then use the conference app to follow the action, scan QR codes using the conference app at select stops and earn points.
Stay engaged, explore often and you could walk away with daily prizes or this year’s especially exciting grand prize.
5. The People You’ll Meet
Yes, education matters. Yes, the sessions matter. But often the most valuable part of LTEN is the people.
The hallway conversations. The breakfast introductions. The peer who solved the same challenge you’re facing. The industry partner with a smarter path forward. The new friend who becomes a long-term collaborator.
Never underestimate what one conversation can change.
There’s Still Time to Join Us
If you haven’t registered yet, consider this your sign. Come learn. Come connect. Come celebrate excellence. Come leave with ideas you can use immediately.
This year’s theme is Excellence Elevated. Impact That Lasts. I can’t wait to experience it with you in Kissimmee.
See you soon, friends!
