Penn State Research Training Approaches Study
In this interactive session, participants will review and discuss data gathered during the LTEN / Penn State research on training approaches, tools, cost-effectiveness, and possible futures.  We will employ real-time digital polling to gather participant input on these topics as well as the forces driving and inhibiting critical changes.

Learning Objectives:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Recall and discuss the key findings from this study’s surveys and interviews, including:
    • the most common practices and approaches currently used to train employees in our field
    • the most satisfying and cost-effective approaches used, and
    • expressed perceptions of how training in this field is likely to change in the near future
  • Summarize the primary drivers of change and barriers to change, and develop strategies to overcome barriers to change
  • Predict changes likely to emerge in life science education and training in the next ten years.

No registration fee required of the invited guests to the LTEN Learning Executive Forum. Due to the significant investment made by LTEN and event sponsors to host this event, LTEN requires that the only pre-condition of your attendance is to provide a valid credit card in order to hold the reservation. This card will not be charged unless, the VIP guest cancels within 14 days of the event.  

Should you, as the invited guest, cancel on November 14, 2018 or later, your card will be charged a non-refundable $200 cancellation fee if your company is not able to provide a qualified substitute who is available to attend the event as your replacement.
