Shaun McMahon, a longtime life sciences sales and training expert, has been selected to join the LTEN Board of Directors, effective immediately. McMahon replaces Board member Evelyn Nichols, who resigned from the Board after her retirement from Informa Training Partners.
The LTEN Board is charged with setting the strategic direction for LTEN and representing the interests of the wide variety of LTEN members. As the PIP representative, McMahon directly represents LTEN’s valuable partner community.
McMahon is president and founder of Illuminate, a Boston-based provider of clinical sales training solutions and an LTEN Preferred Industry Partner (PIP) company. McMahon’s background includes life sciences sales and training roles such as sales representative, national sales trainer and national training manager. In 2017, McMahon was one of the LTEN members named Members of the Year in the annual LTEN Excellence Awards program.
"It's an honor to join the LTEN Board of Directors and to represent both the interests of PIP members and all LTEN members," McMahon said. "LTEN offers an opportunity like no other for its members to connect, learn and grow with and from one another. I’ve met great clients, contacts and friends through LTEN, and it’s my pleasure to give back to the organization by helping the Board lead us all forward."
"Shaun’s been an asset to LTEN since he first got involved with us," said Dawn Brehm, LTEN executive director. "Whether he’s speaking at events and webinars, writing for LTEN Focus on Training magazine or sponsoring LTEN programs through Illuminate, Shaun is someone we could all count on to get involved. I look forward to working with Shaun in his new role on the Board."
