David Brin Joins SPBT Advisory Council

David R. Brin has joined the SPBT Advisory Council. Brin is worldwide manager, curriculum strategy, design & governance, for Ethicon Biosurgery. a Johnson & Johnson company.

"I am pleased to add another member of the device industry to our Advisory Council at SPBT,” said Kevin Kruse executive director. "The expanded input and expertise will be a great value as the organization is growing our efforts to support the device industry.”

The Advisory Council consists of training leaders from a variety of life science organizations and provides input to the Board of Directors on programming, events and other decisions that affect the organization.

The Society of Pharmaceutical and Biotech Trainers (SPBT) is a worldwide 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the professional goals of trainers in the life sciences. SPBT is a conduit to keeping the training industry educated, informed, and connected, and is the only nonprofit organization solely devoted to strengthening training in the healthcare industry with the ultimate benefit of improving patient care.

SPBT was established in 1971 and originally named the National Society of Pharmaceutical Sales Trainers. Today, SPBT has a membership of nearly 1300 life science professionals employed by hundreds of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, diagnostic and training supplier companies around the globe.
