Instructional Design for Great Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality Training

Thursday, September 27, 2018 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM EDT

Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) can significantly enhance learner engagement and promote retention. The challenge for many instructional designers and trainers today lies in when and how to apply key principles of instructional design to ensure meaningful VR and AR experiences.

Join us for this interactive LTEN virtual workshop, sponsored by Tipping Point Media, to learn the instructional design principles behind great VR and AR interventions that engage learners and, most importantly, ensure a transfer of knowledge to the job. The Tipping Point Media team is headed by William Garner, president and chief creative officer, a recognized thought leader in designing VR and AR experiences. It also includes the instructional design team of Jess Angove, director of experiential learning, and Kate Domenick, director of instructional design. Together they’ll help you learn how to design robust, engaging VR and AR.

After this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Recognize the value of VR and AR.
  • Identify when to use these interventions effectively.
  • Articulate how to leverage the principles of instructional design in VR and AR.
