Racing to Success:
The 2013 Medical Device & Diagnostic Trainers Summit
SPBT’s 2nd Annual Medical Device & Diagnostic Trainers Summit was another successful event, bringing together a large mix of training, sales and education professionals for two days of learning and networking.
Held in Indianapolis, the Oct. 8-9, 2013 Summit included keynote presentations, workshop sessions, networking events and an "unconference,” where attendees were able to join targeted discussions or create their own conversations (check out the agenda!).
The Summit kicked off with a campus tour of the Roche Diagnostics Learning Center, and concluded a series of interactive presentations designed to help trainers unlock the full potentials of sales reps (SPBT members can view conference materials linked below).
The event also saw a special networking reception and dinner held at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home to the world’s premier racing event, the Indianapolis 500. SPBT members and attendees were treated to 110 mph rides around the Indy 500 track, in sports cars driven by professional drivers at breathtaking speeds (check out the video!). Attendees also heard from and spoke with IndyCar driver Charlie Kimball, as he shared his story about overcoming adversity and medical challenges to become the first licensed driver with diabetes in the history of IndyCar to race and win in one of the world’s most competitive racing categories.
Details on the SPBT’s 3rd Annual Medical Device & Diagnostic Trainers Summit will be announced soon.
