Amity Cutaia of Astellas Joins LTEN Advisory Council

Roanoke, VA, November 22, 2016 – Amity Cutaia, director of commercial learning and development for Astellas Pharma US and a life sciences sales and training professional for 16 years, has joined the LTEN Advisory Council, LTEN announced today.

Cutaia has been with Astellas since May 2008, leading a team of sales training directors within areas of oncology, urology and commercial. She serves as a strategic architect guiding the creation and execution of annual training plans, new hire sales training, advanced clinical training curriculum and ongoing selling skills field training. Before coming to Astellas, Cutaia worked for Novartis Pharmaceuticals as a sales consultant and later a district sales manager. Cutaia brings to the Advisory Council her extensive project management, vendor management and curriculum design experience.

“Amity is an excellent addition to the LTEN Advisory Council and her experience leading cross functional teams will be invaluable. Her strong background, education and experience in the sciences, along with her work with clinical training professionals and field sales teams, will prove vital for LTEN in our development of resources for these very specific training and education professionals,” said Dawn Brehm, executive director of LTEN.

The Advisory Council consists of training leaders from a variety of life science organizations and provides input to the Board of Directors on programming, events and other decisions that affect the organization.
