Baxter & United Therapeutics Training Leaders Elected to LTEN Board

Ashley Bentley of Baxter and Ranieka Weston of United Therapeutics Elected to LTEN Board of Directors
Roanoke, VA, November 22, 2016 – The Life Sciences Trainers & Educators Network (LTEN) announced that Ashley Bentley of Baxter and Ranieka Weston of United Therapeutics have been elected to serve on the organization’s Board of Directors. The new board members will assume their official roles on January 1, 2017, and their terms will last through December 31, 2018. Bentley fills the seat vacated by Jennifer Wolfgram of Roche Diagnostics and Weston fills the seat previously held by John Constantine of Merck.

Ashley Bentley brings with her more than 16 years of management and leadership experience in sales and training and development. As the vice president of commercial training for Baxter Healthcare, she is responsible for training strategy for all Baxter business units, including biosurgery, hospital and renal, and is a key member of the senior leadership team and co-sponsor of multiple company-wide initiatives. Prior to her role at Baxter, Bentley held several positions for Salix Pharmaceuticals, including senior director of sales training. Earlier in her career, she also held positions at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals and Equidyne Systems.
Ranieka Weston serves as vice president of commercial training and development for United Therapeutics. Weston is charged with building a formal, comprehensive sales force training in a variety of areas, including cardiopulmonary disease states, product knowledge, selling, communication skills, sales leadership development and compliance training for all sales representatives. Weston collaborates with sales leadership and marketing to ensure the effectiveness of all sales messaging and marketing content. Weston brings a wealth of experience from her previous leadership roles at AstraZeneca and Eli Lilly and Company.
