Theresa Turano of Janssen Pharmaceuticals Joins LTEN Advisory Council
Theresa Turano, senior director of sales learning and development for Janssen Pharmaceuticals and a life sciences veteran, has joined the LTEN Advisory Council, LTEN announced today. Turano’s appointment to the LTEN Advisory Council, a group of business leaders that supports and helps operationalize initiatives and programs for the LTEN Board of Directors, begins immediately.
Turano has worked in life sciences for nearly 30 years, with many of those roles focused on sales training and development. After starting as a sales representative for Beecham Labs in October 1986, Turano has held several positions with Janssen including district sales manager, training manager, product director and regional business director. She started her current position with Janssen in December 2014.
“Theresa’s experience in many life sciences sales and training roles will be especially valuable to the Advisory Council,” said Dawn Brehm, executive director of LTEN. “She’ll bring to the table real-world experience in developing people, developing leaders and building programs, all of which will benefit the Advisory Council, LTEN and its members.”
