Chuck Pearson of Astellas Joins LTEN Board of Directors
Roanoke, VA, August 15, 2016 - Chuck Pearson, executive director of commercial learning and development for Astellas Pharma U.S., has joined the LTEN Board of Directors, LTEN announced today. Pearson is taking the seat vacated by Susan Iannone, who is leaving the Board after taking a new position.
Pearson’s appointment to the Board begins immediately. The LTEN Board of Directors is made up of life sciences training leaders who oversee all LTEN operations, events and publications, as they guide and manage the organization.
Pearson has over 24 years in life sciences, since graduating in 1988 from Rutgers University. He held several positions with Schering-Plough Corp., including senior account executive, sales training manager, district manager and sales director. In May 2006, he joined the Astellas Pharma based out of Chicago, where he worked as director of health systems, before moving to sales training in 2010 where he lead both managed markets and oncology training. In 2012 he was promoted to Executive Director Commercial Learning + Development, where he leads a team of 26 learning professionals. He currently leads both commercial training as well as marketing operations.

"Susan was an active and reliable member of the Board, and will part of LTEN.
