TGaS® Advisors acquired by Management-Led Consortium

TGaS® Advisors, the premier provider of benchmarking and advisory services to the commercial operations organizations of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, has been acquired by Trientis Vitae, a newly formed group led by TGaS founder Stephen Gerard and members of the senior management team. The management led buyout was sponsored by Gemini Investors which led a consortium of financial investors including Triangle Capital Corporation, Tregaron Capital Corporation and Salem Investment Partners. The transaction closed on November 14, 2014. Terms were not disclosed.
TGaS, which had been owned by ABRY Partners since 2010, provides the only comprehensive series of benchmarking solutions and advisory services for objectively improving the strategy and effectiveness of pharmaceutical commercial operations functions. Its client roster includes the top 10, and the majority of the top 50, global pharmaceutical companies. The TGaS team includes over 50 highly experienced professionals, most with extensive personal backgrounds at senior levels within pharmaceutical commercial functions.
