Networking is an important part of the LTEN experience, and members certainly took advantage of that opportunity recently, when LTEN hosted its first LTEN Networking Mixer on Sept. 10 at the Marriott Courtyard Boston Downtown. The event was planned as part of the LTEN PrimeTime! For Trainers workshop event.
Members attending the event shared time together at the informal event, giving them the chance to connect and reflect with each other and with workshop facilitator Brian Lange.
The event also made winners of some members, as LTEN raffled off copies of two business books, Abundance by Dr. Peter Diamandis and Your Brain at Work by Dr. David Rock. Those books were awarded to Mary Clare Calvagna of Custom Learning Designs and Paul Kortick of Qstream.
But the big winner for the evening was Diane Dornisch, manager, sales training & development, for OraPHARMA. Diane won the drawing for a free entrance to any LTEN event of her choice, either the LTEN Annual Conference next June in Phoenix, the Medical Device & Diagnostics Summit, coming up this November in San Diego, or one of the LTEN certificate programs produced throughout the year.
The feedback on the first Networking Reception was positive, and suggestions for future reception locations are rolling in, from Cambridge to Canada. Stay tuned for more information on the next LTEN Networking Mixer, coming to a city near you!
